It’s probably not the writing you love, but the money you get from it.

Ask yourself this:
- Am I in the Medium Partner Program?
- Would I still write if I weren’t?
- So why am I still in it?
When I people that they should write and publish their own books, they often respond with:
Why should I do that?
I already earn a lot through Medium…
They obviously don’t get it.
Would you still write if you would not get any money, views, or followers?
If the answer is YES, then you actually enjoy writing.
