Do You Like AI?
Whether the answer is yes or no, you need to read this…
People often ask me if I like AI.
They want to hear my opinion about it, want to know if I am for or against it.
They want to know if I use it for my writing (I do) and what else I am doing with it (everything). They clearly set a path to put me into a category of someone who wants to see the world burn…
However, asking someone what they think about AI or if they like it is missing the point. It is like asking someone if they like gravity. Both AI and gravity are phenomena that exist independently of personal preference or opinion.
Gravity is a fundamental force that shapes our universe and dictates how matter interacts.
Whether or not someone “likes” gravity is irrelevant — it simply is, and everyone has to live with its effects. You can appreciate gravity’s role or dislike its consequences, but you cannot choose to turn it off.
At the same time, AI has become an integral part of modern life. From recommendation algorithms to complex data analysis, AI is embedded in many systems that affect our daily experiences.
Even if someone has concerns about AI or prefers a world without it, it’s already here, shaping industries and influencing decisions. Opting out entirely would be extremely difficult because it’s woven into technology, services, and infrastructure.
What is your AI strategy?
Whether or not someone “likes” AI is irrelevant — it simply is, and everyone has to live with its effects. You can appreciate AI’s role or dislike its consequences, but you cannot choose to turn it off.
So, the real question isn’t “Do you like AI?” but rather, “What’s your plan to incorporate, regulate, or respond to AI?” Having a thoughtful AI strategy is how individuals and organizations stay relevant, resilient, and responsible in a rapidly evolving world.
Many treat AI as a threat.
They create new ways to block it, to dismiss it.
But do you have a personal strategy?
